We have a vacancy for a Corporate Senior Associate who will need to have knowledge and experience of working on a broad range of corporate matters with particular focus on: mergers and acquisitions (sale and purchase of private companies and businesses), joint ventures, corporate restructuring (solvent and insolvent re-organisations), management buyouts, asset sales. Debt and private equity financing and experience of advising on FCA regulatory matters would be a plus but is not essential.
The candidate will actively assist in developing the practice mainly on their own files, and with partners and other associates on larger transactions. They will be supervision of trainees and associates. In accordance with the general practice of the firm, the candidate will have responsibility and client contact, and will enjoy the support and encouragement of other members of the team at all levels.

The successful candidate will have excellent academic grades will need to be able to demonstrate competence in all areas of Corporate law, be capable of producing competent and commercial advice promptly and within budget, able to deliver excellent client service at the highest level, to become involved and assist in all matters, including billing and business development as well as fee earning work and able to demonstrate a keen interest in business development and willingness to become involved in departmental marketing activities.
