Beyond the Glass Ceiling: Women staying at the top

Please note: This event is for professional women seeking to develop their networks. Please feel free to forward this event to an appropriate colleague.

Even when women have overcome the various professional challenges that commonly exist, such as hitting the glass ceiling, and have reached the top flights of their careers, there are still organisational, personal, and societal hurdles that can make staying there even more of a challenge.

You are invited to join us at our upcoming ‘HigHer’ event where our panel of successful women will share their experiences of getting to, and staying at the top of their game. Chaired by Collyer Bristow Partner, Tania Goodman, the panel will consider topics such as:

  • The pressure to conform to gender expectations and male characteristics;
  • Overcoming imposter syndrome versus self-promotion and inner confidence (particularly in male-dominated fields);
  • Queen bee syndrome versus fostering empowerment among fellow women

Meet our panel of professional women:

  • Jo Dolman is the Co-Director, Global HR at Fremantle Media, one of the world’s largest and most successful producers and distributors of entertainment, drama, film, and documentaries.
  • Dr Fazeela Khan-Osborne is the founding clinician of the FACE dental implant multi-disciplinary team for ‘The One-To-One Dental Clinic’ based in Harley Street, London.
  • Nicky Richmond is the Managing Director of Ravensgate Partners. She is a former Managing Partner of Brecher LLP and now provides strategic advice to lawyers and law firms in the real estate sector.
  • Sarah Nolan-Watt is the Director of Sales and Customer Care at EcoWorld London, a London property developer with a focus on sustainability.

The discussion will be followed by afternoon tea and networking.
