Eighteen months after the introduction of Corporate Insolvency and Governance Act 2020 (CIGA) Robin Henry  and Jeff Roberts from Collyer Bristow’s Insolvency team are joined by Colin Haig, the current President of R3 and Head of Restructuring at Azets; Lee Manning, a former President of R3 and a Partner at ReSolve; Malcolm Weir, Director of Restructuring & Insolvency at the Pension Protection Fund and Stephen Baister, Deputy Insolvency & Companies Court Judge and Former Chief Bankruptcy Registrar – High Court, to discuss the effects of the insolvency law reforms introduced by CIGA.

Areas of discussion will include:

  • The moratorium and restructuring plan
  • The effect on pension funds and interaction with the new pensions legislation
  • The real estate arbitration process
  • Whether the insolvency profession can be trusted to deliver, or should be State run

The discussion will be followed by a Q & A session.
