Lucy is an Associate specialising in commercial disputes. She advises on a broad range of disputes, including breach of contract, professional negligence, shareholder claims and privacy claims.
Lucy also has specialist experience in banking and financial disputes, including claims against banks relating to complex financial products, claims arising out of the treatment of clients in RBS’s Global Restructuring Group, responding to FCA enforcement action and assisting clients whose bank accounts have been frozen unilaterally by their bank.
Lucy has experience working with and acting for litigation funders.
Lucy studied Law at Magdalen College, Oxford, graduating in 2013. She then completed the LPC at the University of Law.
Acting for the Claimant in a Commercial Court claim for restitution of monies paid under extendable interest rate swaps, involving the interpretation of ISDA documents.
Acting for the Claimant in a judicial review against HMRC’s decision to withhold substantial VAT input tax from our client.
Acting for the Defendant in ongoing High Court proceedings concerning joint ventures and commercial trusts.
