Raj is a Senior Associate in our Commercial team and specialises in drafting, negotiating, and advising on a wide range of commercial contracts in both business-to-business and business-to-consumer contexts. These include manufacturing agreements, goods and services agreements, website and mobile app development agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and e-commerce terms and conditions. Having acted for clients in both the private and public sectors, he is also able to advise businesses on tendering for contracts subject to public procurements.
As a member of Collyer Bristow’s data protection team, Raj is experienced in drafting and negotiating data processing agreements and privacy notices, and assists clients in addressing and understanding the operational implications of the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and other privacy-related legislation. He was awarded the Practitioner Certificate in Data Protection (PC.dp) in October 2020.
Raj additionally provides commercially strategic advice to clients on their ownership, protection, and commercial exploitation of their intellectual property, particularly with regard to copyright and trade marks.
Fluent in French, Raj also speaks Italian and German. He is a member of the Society for Computers and Law, as well as the Franco-British Lawyers Society.
