Collyer Bristow is delighted to announce that Alex Vakil will join the firm as Partner and Head of Commercial Disputes on 1 September, succeeding Robin Henry following his retirement.

Collyer Bristow is delighted to announce that Alex Vakil will join the firm as Partner and Head of Commercial Disputes on 1 September, succeeding Robin Henry following his retirement.
Alex advises businesses, entrepreneurs and senior executives on managing risk, resolving complex disputes and protecting their reputations. His practice is varied and includes advising clients on a range of high-value and strategically important matters, including claims arising out of breach of contract, professional negligence, shareholder disputes, defamation, breach of confidence, harassment, personal data and misuse of private information.
Alex joins Collyer Bristow from Joelson, where he was Co-Head of Commercial Litigation. Prior to that, he was a Partner at RPC. He has extensive experience handling complex, high-profile and strategically important litigation, guiding clients through trial where necessary and securing successful outcomes through mediation and other forms of dispute resolution.
Alex has been recognised by both Chambers and The Legal 500 for his expertise and client service.
