Steven is a consultant for the firm’s Media and privacy team, advising on a very broad range of disputes, including arts, media, defamation, privacy, breach of confidence, and related Actions.

Working with individuals and families

Steven’s work involves advising on reputational, privacy and defamation issues, and all related disputes. This includes unlawful information gathering such as phone hacking, and contractual disputes in the media, arts and sports. He has acted in many high profile cases and for well known individuals. He acted for over 150 claimants in the phone hacking scandal and connected investigations.

Working with businesses

Steven advises boards, directors and officers on reputational, defamation, breach of confidence and all related disputes.

He also advises on all types of corporate and individual insolvency (with a particular expertise in high value bankruptcies), as well as Fraud, asset tracing and recovery of assets.

Steven is a Higher Court Advocate and a trained Mediator.
