We acted for a chemical science company pursuing claims against three former employees and a shareholder who exploited trade secrets and confidential information.

Acting for a leading US software supplier in relation to an LCIA arbitration

We acted for a leading US software supplier in relation to an LCIA arbitration seated in London on matters arising out of the termination of contracts in a large UK infrastructure project.

Acting in ICC and Swiss arbitrations for allegations of fraud

We acted for a South African mining company in ICC and Swiss arbitrations seated in London, involving allegations of fraud in connection with a mining project.

Advising a beauty brand

We advised a beauty and cosmetic products brand on its product manufacturing agreements.

Advising a leading petrochemical company in fraud proceedings

We acted on behalf of a leading petrochemical company in fraud proceedings, including successful application for a worldwide freezing order in the English Court and Norwich Pharmacal orders in the BVI and Cyprus. US Section 1782 orders were also obtained against related entities in the US.

Advising a M&A buy-side mandate for the purchase of a leading automotive manufacturer

We acted on a M&A buy-side mandate, backed by investment from a family office, in respect of the purchase of a leading manufacturer of dual-control systems for cars. We also advised on the equity financing of the special purpose vehicle, and the debt financing of the deal.

Advising on a medical patent infringement

We acted for a pioneering Swiss-based medical laboratory, in High Court patent infringement and validity proceedings. This complex case considered the infringement of a patent for an innovative medical product under the newly developed doctrine of equivalents as recently formulated by the Supreme Court.

Advising on supply agreements

We advised a leading manufacturer on its supply chain agreements.

Defending in High Court proceedings against allegations of infringement

We successfully defended our clients in the High Court against allegations of infringement, misuse of confidential information and breach of employee’s duty of fidelity in an action brought by their former employer concerning the manufacture of surgical support devices. The successful outcome on all substantial claims also included an award of indemnity costs in our clients’ favour.

Providing commercial advice for a leading car manufacturer

We acted for one of the world’s leading car manufacturers, advising on various commercial contracts, including service agreements, warranty agreements, media agreements, dealership contracts, data processing agreements, events agreements and supply agreements among a number of other commercial matters.

Representing a specialist insolvency litigation financing company pursuing damages claims

Representing a specialist insolvency litigation financing company pursuing claims in relation to 22 companies (in ether administration or liquidation) for damages and/or other relief in respect of loss and damages caused by the unlawful coordination of certain truck manufactures in relation to the supply of trucks.
