Collyer Bristow IP Partners, Patrick Wheeler and Tim Bamford, have been recognised in the 2020 rankings of IPStars , the highly regarded guide to the world’s leading IP law firms practitioners.

IPStars research, rankings, and analysis provides independent and impartial accreditation in over 125 jurisdictions, including 1,850 firms and 5,700 practitioners.

Tim Bamford is recognised as an IPStar in Patent litigation. Tim is a solicitor-advocate specialising in all aspects of contentious Intellectual property work and other disputes with a significant technical content. He also has extensive experience of dealing with IT and media disputes. Much of his work has an international dimension.

Patrick Wheeler is recognised as an IPStar in Trademark litigation. Patrick heads both the Intellectual property and the Data protection teams at Collyer Bristow. He has extensive experience of contentious IP matters for a wide variety of clients, both as Claimant and Defendant. He specialises in identifying creative, cost-effective, and practical solutions to disputes.
