About

Adrian is a Partner in our Real Estate department, specialising in insurance, real estate and construction and dispute resolution, and in construction contract drafting. Many of the matters on which he advises have an international element.

In the real estate and construction sector, Adrian represents developers, commercial, retail and industrial building owners, HNWI’s and contractors/sub-contractors in claims involving delay and disruption, and interim and final account disputes, and poor design and workmanship. He also deals with construction-related property claims including disputed land rights, JV issues, and breach of contracts.

On the non-contentious side, he drafts and advises on main and sub-contracts, professional terms of retainer, collateral warranties, PCGs, bonds and other industry documents. He is experienced in dealing with a wide range of industry forms, including JCT, NEC, FIDIC, RIBA, PPC and bespoke contracts.

Adrian’s insurance experience includes advising on coverage and professional indemnity disputes, property damage claims, and construction insurance risks, as well as insurance documentation and regulatory matters.

Adrian is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (MCIArb), the Society of Construction Law (SCL) and the Technology and Construction Solicitors’ Association (TeCSA). He is a qualified commercial mediator with CEDR and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, and a qualified construction adjudicator with TeCSA.
