Laura Smith is an Associate in our Employment team.

She advises both UK and international businesses, as well as senior executives, across the full spectrum of contentious and non-contentious employment law. Laura supports clients on matters including (but not limited to): strategic day-to-day HR advice; employment tribunal claims; the enforcement of post-termination restrictions (including restrictive covenants); unfair and constructive dismissal; discrimination and whistleblowing claims; and the negotiation of high-value settlement and retirement packages.

Laura acts for SMEs, large corporations, financial and professional services businesses and public bodies. Drawing on her experience in commercial law, litigation and debt recovery, she provides holistic, commercially focused advice and is known for her strong commitment to client care and delivering clear, practical guidance in plain English.

Laura is a member of The Law Society of England and Wales and the Employment Lawyers Association.
