Andrew has expertise in all aspects of contentious and non-contentious employment law work (especially recruitment, dismissals, restructuring, trade unions, employee relations, discrimination, investigations, confidential information, restrictive covenants, M&A, and contract negotiations).

Andrew’s trade union and employee relations experience also covers advice relating to the formation and operation of works councils and similar bodies, and the negotiation and implementation of collective agreements with those bodies.

Andrew’s practice covers many areas of UK and international business. He has particular expertise in advising clients in the financial services, IT, travel, and media sectors, and is well used to worked with technology companies, including in the early stages of their development.

Before he joined Collyer Bristow in May 2019, Andrew was for 34 years (27 as a partner) at Taylor Wessing, where he established the Employment practice and played a leading role in the firm’s international expansion.
