Collyer Bristow is delighted to win the LawCareers.net Training & Recruitment Award 2020 for “Best Trainer – Medium City Firm”.
The award, presented online this year due to Coronavirus lockdown, recognises the quality and breadth of work; the support and feedback structure; and the breadth of opportunity provided to trainees throughout the duration of their training contracts.
Since 2004, the LawCareers.net Training & Recruitment Awards have celebrated the best recruiters and trainers among law firms. The award results are based on an extensive yearly survey of trainee and newly qualified solicitors. Survey respondents are asked to frankly assess their own experiences and score their firm on a number of criteria related to the recruitment, training, work placement scheme and training principal.
Feedback submitted to LawCareers.net said of Collyer Bristow’s training programme:
“The firm is an excellent trainer. The structure of appraisals is clear and feedback is genuinely useful. Everyone is approachable for questions and everyone takes a genuine interest in trainees. The success of the training programme is reflected in last year’s 100% retention rate”
Collyer Bristow was shortlisted for the award alongside Dechert, Devonshires, Goodman Derrick, Kingsley Napley, Pennington Manches Cooper and Winckworth Sherwood.
More information on the Training & Recruitment Awards can be found on the Lawcareers.net website.
