About
Daniel is a member of our Trusts, tax and estate planning team. He has significant experience advising on all aspects of UK and international tax, trust and estate planning and charity law. In recent years, Daniel has particularly specialised in UK and US planning as well as providing Swiss, French, Italian and Indian cross border advice. He recently advised on a complex series of trusts and companies to hold a new UK business venture as well as French and US property for a South American client considering moving to the UK or the US. The work required his UK, US and French expertise.
Daniel’s daily work includes the drafting of wills, trusts and innovative estate plans. He strives to find creative yet practical solutions to his clients’ wide ranging concerns. Last year he resolved a potentially contentious probate arising from an out-of-date will, with a simple deed of variation, to give effect to the testator’s true wishes.
He travels regularly to Switzerland, the US and further afield to advise his clients.
Daniel is a member of the International Bar Association (IBA) and the Charity Law Association (CLA). He is the immediate past chair of the Private Client Tax Committee and a frequent speaker at the IBA and STEP.
