Samara is a key member of our Contentious trusts and probate team. She specialises in all categories of trust disputes, acting for both trustees and beneficiaries in breach of trust claims, applications for removals and other disputed aspects of trust administration, including cross-jurisdictional issues.
Samara also has a wealth of experience in contested probate matters, including challenges to wills based on capacity, undue influence and fraud and claims against estates under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependents) Act 1975. With a background in real estate litigation, Samara’s in-depth knowledge of property law is invaluable where trust assets or deceased’s legacies include UK properties and she has successfully represented clients in the related areas of proprietary estoppel and constructive trust claims.
Samara also has experience in assisting clients manage their UK affairs in the light of international financial sanction regimes and can advise on the implications of unexplained wealth orders.
Samara is a member of the Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists (ACTAPS) and The Contentious Trusts Association (ConTRA) as well as a member of the Property Litigation Association (PLA).
