Collyer Bristow is looking for an ambitious digital marketing expert, with strong communications skills, to enhance and evolve the firm’s digital strategy. Reporting to the Director of BD & Marketing, this role will require an individual passionate about digital marketing, with a creative yet analytical approach, to help produce innovative, market-leading content and run our digital channels to maximise their effectiveness.
The holder of this role will enjoy considerable autonomy and responsibility, helping to shape the digital strategy for a legal brand that embraces new challenges and constantly breaks the conventions of ‘typical’ law firm marketing.
Core Responsibilities
Creating engaging visual and written content for the firm’s website, email newsletters, social media, intranet, and other communication channels
Managing a content calendar to ensure regular content is delivered and maximised across all channels
Producing, or project managing the production of, podcasts, videos, webinars, motion graphics, apps and other online tools to boost online presence and generate leads
Increasing the reach and engagement levels across all social media platforms
Establishing and managing paid advertising campaigns
Leading on continual website & digital development projects (in close collaboration with our external digital agency)
Leading on the continual development of our internal communications channels, centred around our intranet platform
Analysis and reporting on engagement and performance of digital channels and optimising for continually improved performance.
Developing and rolling-out a brand evolution project (in close collaboration with our external brand agency)
Managing relationships with our primary marketing software vendors
Leading on the introduction of new technologies, platforms, and innovative approaches that differentiate Collyer Bristow through its marketing output
The BD & Marketing team works closely with our lawyers to drive growth for the firm, supporting activity to win new work, grow existing relationships and promote the firm in its chosen markets. The team’s remit covers communications, new business generation, client relationship management, brand and design, and events.

The BD & Marketing team works closely with our lawyers to drive growth for the firm, supporting activity to win new work, grow existing relationships and promote the firm in its chosen markets. The team’s remit covers communications, new business generation, client relationship management, brand and design, and events.
This is what we’re ideally looking for:
Working knowledge of all key social platforms and their advertising modules; Hootsuite; Google Analytics; Google Ads; WordPress; Canva; Buzzsprout; Audacity; Google Podcasts; Spotify. Knowledge of Vuture would be advantageous but not essential
A self-starter, able to work autonomously but also collaborate as part of a small team
A “can-do” attitude, pro-active and idea driven
Attention to detail
Ability to grasp concepts quickly, with very good organisational skills to prioritise and multitask
Enthusiasm and confidence to present new ideas and initiatives, and to lead on projects
Strong communication skills (written and spoken), with the ability to communicate complex concepts in an easily understood way to a variety of internal stakeholders (of varying seniority)
Strong data analysis, interpretation and reporting skills
Design skills would be advantageous
